Bonum Terrae has chosen organic lentils from the Region of Grevena in North Greece. The are easily boiled and taste great in soups or as a salad ingredient!

Lentils are famous for their nutritious value and especially for their high concentration in iron (one tea cup of lentils contain more than half of the recommended quantity per day per person) In addition, lentils are very good source of protein with more than 30% of their calories coming from proteins. Ideally, they can be combined with rice ("fakoryzo" recipe) for one complete meal.
