Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the Protected Designation of Origin of Messara in Crete (the largest plain in Crete that spans from Southern parts of Heraklion perfecture, below the Psiloritis mt).

Produced by Koroneiki variety olive trees. Olive oil has a balanced taste and aromas and has a slight bitter aftertaste that lingers. Acidity is lower than 0.6% and has good values of K and ΔΚ.

Due to xeric conditions prevailing in the area of Messara in South Crete, the content of unsaturated fatty acids is increased and the nutritional value of this extra virgin olive oil is high.
