Rose wines stay in the middle between Red wines and White wines. The color of the wine is a vibrant rose color and the varieties used to produce a rose wine are red vines like Cabernet.

It's produced when the juice from red grapes stays along with the fermentation grapes for a relatively small and specific period of time. Or alternatively when part of the red grape juice is extracted in the first hours of vinification and stored in a different container to become the rose wine.
