Honey

Honey, the sweet food made by bees using nectar from flowers is stored in wax honeycombs inside the beehive. The flowers in the nearby area of the beehive play an important role for its taste and its nutritional properties.
Bonum Terrae has chosen the high quality honey produced in North Greece or in Aegean islands. Naturally produced from flowers and conifers, pine trees, thyme and flowers in North Greece or in the island of Leros in the Aegean and packaged in glass jars of 320gr or 920gr.

Thyme honey from Leros island

Bonum Terrae has chosen Leros island as the ideal island to produce the famous for its taste Greek Thyme honey (940gr glass jar).
Due to the islands' microclimate, there are many slopes filled with aromatic herbs such as thyme. Bees collect flowers from thyme and produce one of the best honeys you have ever tasted.
"A beautiful rose amber, clear honey. Very aromatic on the nose, the herbs coming through beautifully. A wondrous sweet nectar that glides round the mouth and caresses the throat. There is a delicate thyme finish. This is what honey should do."
